Good to know on the hillside

Built on a hillside. Much of the district sits on a steep sidehill above Okanagan Lake. Elevation affects water pressure, and so does a worn pressure-reducing valve, so if your pressure changes suddenly it's worth finding out which one it is.
Newer, filtered water supply. Since early 2022, every property in the district, including the Trepanier area, gets filtered water from the Peachland Creek Water Treatment Plant (filtration, UV, and chlorine), fed from Peachland Lake. If you added sediment filters back when spring runoff made the water cloudy, we can look at whether that setup still earns its keep, or just needs new cartridges.
Lake-moderated, but it still freezes. Environment Canada normals show average January lows just below freezing, with record lows down to -25°C. Outdoor faucets and pipes in unheated spaces still need winter attention.
