No surprise markups. Here’s how Fontus prices plumbing and heating work across Summerland, Penticton, Naramata, Peachland, and West Kelowna — so you know what to expect before we start.
Our labour rate
Our standard labour rate is $125 per hour. That’s what we use when work is time-and-materials. Many common jobs are quoted as a flat price once we’ve seen the work — so you know the number before we begin.
Flat quote or hourly?
- Flat quote — after we assess the job (most installs, renos, clear repair scopes)
- Time-and-materials — when the scope isn’t knowable until we’re into the work; you’ll know the hourly rate upfront ($125/hr)
- Parts — priced transparently; we explain options (good / better / best) when it matters
When the problem isn’t obvious
Some problems take time to track down — a no-heat call, a water heater that’s acting up, a leak we can’t see yet. When that happens, finding the cause is billed at our labour rate, and we’ll tell you what we found and what it will take before any repair goes ahead.

- Make/model or age if you know it
- Whether it’s a rental/STR turnover or your home
- Best call-back number and access notes
Hours and urgent work
Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Emergency call-outs: evenings and weekends when available — call or text (250) 274-0132 and we’ll confirm as soon as we can. We do not advertise round-the-clock coverage.
